The central business district is called the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. It resides at the intersection of Jane Street and Highway 7.
For shopping, head to Vaughan Mills Centre, a very large indoor mall with major retailers like Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy, Calvin Klein, Coach, DSW, GAP, Nike, Hugo, H&M, Lacoste, Lululemon, NORDSTROM rack, Old Navy and more. It’s connected with York Regional Transit and the TTC subway line, making it easy to get into and out of without having to do any driving. If you prefer to drive, Vaughan Mills is conveniently located next to Highway 400 and Rutherford Road, a short distance north of Highways 7 and 407.
For more shopping, the big IKEA Vaughan store and Costco are great places to visit, located just down the road from Vaughan Mills, off Highway 400, between Highways 7 and 407.
