Going the other direction, it gives west Hamilton, Stony Creek and the Niagara Peninsula residents fast and easy access to Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto and the 407 which can take them far east much faster than travelling through Hamilton to access these areas.

The QEW, short for “Queen Elizabeth Way,” will also get take you from Burlington to the US border in Niagara Falls in 45 minutes.
